Pine corner unit Wren singing with joy The corner unit pictured was made of pine and cost £195. It has a bow front, and was decorated with a picture of a wren so that it matched a small table that I made.

Prices are really dependent on size and start at £75 for a fairly small unit.

This sort of unit does not have any time-consuming dovetail joints. Instead you have the opportunity to have a piece of artwork on it. Or perhaps an interesting finish. I therefore regret that the picture of the wren is blurred, which is caused by me moving the camera <sigh>.
