I reconditioned this trailer for a friend who lives nearby. I pulled off all the old wood, which meant grinding the head off every bolt holding it on, due to all the rust! Then I cleaned the trailer frame and painted it with black Hammerite paint. I took the wheels off and cleaned and re-sprayed the hubs silver. I bolted on new wood painted with hideous chemicals to stop it rotting, and gave it two coats of garden furniture paint. I painted car under-seal on the base. I replaced the six cleats it had. By the time I had finished eighteen hours later it looked like a new trailer. 

Yes, I wish I had taken a 'before' picture so that you could see how much it changed. I guess that is why I am a carpenter and not a photographer.
