Writing desk
 This writing desk was made of pine, and lightly stained. I left the actual writing area unstained, so that it has an attractive light appearance when the desk is opened. The writing area was made up of thin rectangles of pine, with a border of smaller pieces of oak.

It has three large drawers. The top drawer is narrower than the two lower ones in order to accommodate the sliding supports for the desktop. There are seven small drawers.

The desk measures 710mm wide, 410mm deep and 934mm high. (28 inches by 16 inches by 37 inches approximately). This is with the top closed.

It was a pleasure to make this desk at the customer's request and it was completed in November, 2004.
